It’s a complete surprise to some people that Kris Allen was the winner of American Idol 8.

I was not surprised at all. You see, there were so many Danny Gokey’s fans who were so used to rooting against Adam Lambert. With Danny’s elimination from the American Idol, it’s impossible that they could switch gears and suddenly pull for Adam.

So, what did they do? Voted Kris Allen.

Like Kris Allen said, “Adam deserves it.”

It’s true that Adam deserved to be the winner. But he didn’t need such title to be a recording artiste.

Yeahoo, Adam Lambert is in final two of American Idol 8. I feel happy for him.

However, it came as a surprise that Danny Gokey was sent home. Why? I thought he was deemed to be the next American idol?

Many analysts of the show had Adam Lambert figured to be in the finale, and Simon Cowell, one of the judges for the show, was certain that the singer deserved to be in the finale.

Wow, do you know that Adam Lambert is rated the red hot favorite to win the American Idol 8?

While I was updating my weight loss blog with some new appetite suppressant products, hubby told me that some bookies in the village bet that Adam would beat Danny Gokey.

Well, it doesn’t matter who will be the next American Idol. People should just save up their hard-earned money rather than giving it to the bookies who live in expensive mansions and drive luxury cars.

Anoop Desai and Lil Rounds were voted out from last week’s American Idol Season 8.

I am not surprised at all. He had been in the bottom 3 for a few consecutive weeks before he was sent home.

It’s apparent that some audience didn’t like Anoop. Whenever his name was called, I could hear some boos from the audience.

Did they boo him or call out his name, Anoooooooop?

I have to miss this week’s American Idol 8 because of my buddy’s purple wedding. She needs me to help out as there are still some purple wedding bedding and bathroom accessories that have to be taken care of.

I am also taking this opportunity to get someone to install some bathroom safety products in my mom’s house.

My mom has feeble legs and thus there is a need to place a shower chair and some grab bars in the bathroom for her safety.

Hubby has refused to attend my buddy’s purple wedding dinner. He would rather have fun with his buddies while I am away.

Guess that I will have to miss this week’s American Idol 8 again. Hubby says he will tape it down for me while I am away.

I wonder if song choices will still be the problem. You know, I like American Idol 7 more than American Idol 8.

Who will more likely be voted out this week, Michael Sarver or Scott MacIntyre?
