I can’t believe that my sisters and their family are coming for a night’s stay at my place the end of this month (again)! They just paid me a visit on the 31st August.
It seems that they don’t mind two hour’s drive from the city to the small village that hubby and I are living. They are fine even if they have to cram in two bedrooms; there is only one bathroom without any heater, and the most horrible thing is that there are lots of mosquitoes in the evening.
I definitely welcome them if they really enjoy being village folks for a day or two.
Since they will pay me a visit more often, my brother-in-laws are ready to invest in portable Car DVD Players to keep the kids entertained in the cars during two hour’s journey.
They have already read some how to choose a Car DVD Player tips at ShopWiki and managed to find their desired portable DVD players at the best prices.
To be honest, the Car DVD Players Buying Guide available is very helpful and makes choosing the right car DVD players easy and fast.
You Need HDMI For Your DVD Player, PlayStation 3, Satellite Or Cable TV Box, Or Even Your Computer April 8, 2008

I still remember the days before installing HDMI. I had to hook up three separate connectors for just the video and two additional RCA plugs for stereo sound. Instead of the two RCA plugs, you I could also use an S/PDIF optical cable for the sound but it still added a lot of cable complexity and clutter compared to a single HDMI cable.
It’s different now. With a single HDMI cable now I plug my DVD player, my PlayStation 3, my satellite or cable TV box, or even my computer up to a modern HDTV. The sound and picture work well. The HDMI plug only has a single small connector so it’s nice and simple.
Always shop extensively if you want cheap HDMI switches or cables for your DVD player, PlayStation 3, satellite or cable TV box, or even your computer up to a modern HDTV.
Computers, Video Games, Cell Phones, And The Internet Are Real Hot In China April 8, 2008
Posted by in : News / Updates On Gadgets , add a commentIt’s no surprise that China will have more Internet users than the U.S. In fact, it has. China had 210 million Internet users at the end of 2007. And that figure is expected to hit an astonishing 280 million users by the end of this year because they’re adding around 200,000 new users each and every day.
There are 228 million Chinese Internet surfers right now. That translates into only a 16% penetration rate, well below the global average of 19.1% and the U.S.’s whopping 69.7%. This means China has only scratched the surface of its wired potential!
With nearly 200,000 new users coming online daily, internet cafes have exploded in popularity across China.
Computers, memory cards, video games, cell phones, and the Internet are real hot in China.
