I have been very free this week. Guess what? I have been watching old movies these few days. I mean old Andy Hardy movies.
The Andy Hardy DVDs belong to my buddy who runs a large chain of auto parts franchises. This buddy grew up with Mickey Rooney and Judy Garland movies.
I love these old fashioned movies with plenty of laughter and humor. I am sure I will watch them over and over.
With weakening economy and looming recession, it’s fortunate to have a job. If you know the number of people being laid off these two months, you’ll start feeling scared and thinking when it’s your turn.
Some of my hubby’s buddies who have been retrenched recently are lucky to be able to secure some sales manager jobs.
Although they won’t be paid as well as last time, they don’t mind. As long as they are employed and have money to bring home, they are happy.
It’s going to be quiet week for me next week. People should be busy preparing Christmas dinners at home or shopping at the local malls for last minute shopping deals.
