High School Musical hottie Ashley Tisdale confirmed to People recently that she had rhinoplasty done.

“Growing up, I always knew I had a deviated septum, which caused trouble breathing,” a bandaged Ashley said yesterday.

A role model for young girls, Ashley said she’s not an advocate for plastic surgery and wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.

“I didn’t do this because I believe in plastic surgery. I did this to help my health. I literally almost could not breathe out of the right side of my nose,” said Ashley. “I want my fans to know the truth. I’m not someone who is going to act like I had nothing done.”

Ashley is expected to fully recover by the time High School Musical 3 begins filming early next year.
