Angels And Demons Hits Theaters In December 2008 October 30, 2007

The script for The Da Vinci Code prequel Angels And Demons is almost finalised and producers are looking at commencing filming sometime in February next year.

The prequel will see Tom Hanks reprise his role as Robert Langdon, Harvard professor of symbology and religious iconology, who this time follows a mystery that leads him all the way to the Vatican.

It was rumoured earlier this year that Hanks will receive the biggest salary of an actor for the film. However, the producers have declined to comment as to the validity of that story.

Angels And Demons, directed by Ron Howard, is set to hit theaters in December next year. I can’t wait to buy cheap DVD of Angels and Demons.

More movie deals are rolling in for High School Musical super cutie Zac Efron.

The American teen heartthrob has just signed on to star in Seventeen - a comedy that tells the tale of a 36-year-old man who wakes up one morning to discover that he’s a high school senior again.

Apparently, there’s more to it than just school dances, peer pressure and high school drama.

It’s a good transitional movie that will appeal to his audience and hopefully bring in more adults. Jennifer, Zac’s sister happens to be the producer of Seventeen.

Details of the cast and date of release has yet to be made available to the press.

High School Musical 2 (Extended Edition) (2007)I really don’t understand the negative reviews for this High School Musical 2 (Extended Edition) as I found it to be really great. As usual, one wonders if they saw the same film. This movie was made to appeal to pre-teen and teen viewers and it’s been a hit with them this summer.

I’m not a teen, but I’ve always loved cheap DVDs on teen movies and I found it terrific. I’ve had lots of kids say positive things to me about this movie and so I know it was well received. I’m just so glad that musicals are popular again as I’ve always liked that genre.

Music has a way of touching people in ways that a regular film just can’t. Yes, this film High School Musical 2 has been marketed, but I have to say that to market successfully you have to have a good product (which this is).

Ok, we all knew that the movie producers would have a really hard time matching the success of the first movie which was a real classic. This High School Musical 2 movie came so close to being even better than the first. I think what did this was the outstanding music, vocal performances of Zac & Vanessa, and choreography.

Also, the “romantic quotient” is quite high and there are plenty of romantic scenes for those of us who like those kind of movies. Zac and Vanessa have a lot of onscreen chemistry & their real love for each other really shines through on film. I can see that there are a few scenes that are going to get ’stuck’ in my dvd player!

My Best Friend's Wedding (Special Edition) (1997)I hold My Best Friend’s Wedding (Special Edition) (1997) close to my heart, why you may ask? Because I was going thru the same thing Julia Roberts was going thru in this movie.

I was in love with someone who did not belong to me. It was a hot affair 10 years ago that ended disastrously, and I ended up the loser at the end. The lesson here is, life goes on.

Julia’s performance was so true and honest, she always steals my heart.

Great movie! Get this Cheap DVD of My Best Friend’s Wedding (Special Edition) (1997).
